Net 2 loops together, net 1 knot in each loop until 2 loops are left in row, net these last 2 loops together. When there are 8 loops in row, cut thread from needle leaving a length about 5 inches long on the bookmark. |

Cut 40 pieces of thread about 10 inches long. Put 5 pieces into each loop on the last row. When all loops are filled, adjust so that the ends are even and wrap a 12" length of thread around the strands about 7 times, about ½" from the end of the bookmark. Tie the ends of this thread together. Trim tassel ends evenly.
